The Ridewave Platypus is a folding, semi-recumbent electric trike for riders who put stability, comfort and confidence first. A low step-through, a wide padded seat with armrests and adjustable backrest, and a seat that slides forward and back like a car seat make it easy to get on, easy to set up and easy to ride for longer.
The 6061 aluminium frame folds at the centre and the stem and handlebar fold too, so it can be stored in a garage or loaded into a medium to large SUV with the seats down. A 16x3" front tyre and 20x3" rear tyres keep it planted on sealed roads, bike paths and everyday urban surfaces, and the rear cargo basket carries the shopping.
