The KOALA CARGO (formerly the Koala "PRO") has been a fat tyre original since 2017, and the Gen 8.0 is the most capable version yet — a genuine everyday cargo e-bike that hauls kids, dogs, groceries, camping gear or a mate on the back without breaking a sweat.

• One kid, two kids, even three. One dog, two dogs — no problem. The extended aluminium rear end natively supports child seats, a second adult seat, baskets and pannier bags

• Second battery slot underneath — add a spare later and hot-swap on the fly for extended range

• 52V 20Ah (1050Wh) EN-certified Samsung 21700 battery, 3A charger included; 48V 1200Wh upgrade battery available
• Only 36kg — up to 10kg lighter than comparable cargo e-bikes
